What it does

What does HandwriterAI do?+
HandwriterAI turns typed text into a handwritten-style PDF using a writing style you select. If you photograph a supported question or problem, it can also prepare a step-by-step solution before rendering the page.
Is this just a handwriting font?+
HandwriterAI uses the handwriting style you select and applies layout details such as spacing, baseline drift, ink variation, and slight letter rotation. It does not automatically learn or copy your personal handwriting.
Does it recreate my own handwriting?+
No. You choose from the handwriting styles currently available in the app. The standard conversion does not recreate your personal handwriting from a sample.
Can it handle math, tables, and diagrams?+
Yes. Inline math goes between $...$ and display math between $$...$$, rendered glyph-by-glyph in the same handwriting as the prose. No separate computer-modern font intruding mid-page. Tables and diagrams (charts, free-body diagrams, geometry, number lines) are supported too.
What languages does it support?+
Language support depends on the handwriting styles available for that script. The app supports Latin text and can route supported Arabic, Hebrew, Indic, and CJK text to compatible catalog styles; preview the result before relying on a long render.

Pricing and plans

How much does it cost, and is there a free trial?+
A web account includes one lifetime direct text-to-handwriting page, with no AI analysis. AI solving, scans, and mobile renders require paid access. The Subscription screen shows current prices and included renders before you purchase.
What counts as a document?+
A completed submission counts against the render allowance shown on your Subscription screen. Document length and re-render limits can vary by plan, so the app shows the current limits before you render.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?+
The app prompts you to upgrade or wait for your allowance to reset instead of submitting a render that cannot start. Your existing documents remain available.
Can I cancel anytime, and how do refunds work?+
Cancel from the billing service where you subscribed: the App Store, Google Play, or the web billing portal. Access continues to the end of the current billing period. See our refund policy for how to request one.

Using it and output

What does the finished file look like, and can I print it?+
You get a PDF (or PNG) sized for standard A4 or US Letter, so it prints as it appears on screen. Rendering time depends on document length, math, diagrams, output format, and current processing load.
Which devices does it run on?+
HandwriterAI runs in your web browser and is available on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
What paper styles can I choose?+
Lined, blank, grid, and dotted paper are available in A4 and US Letter sizes. The app shows which options are included with your current plan.
Can I change how the handwriting looks?+
Yes. Slant, character spacing, line spacing, baseline drift, ink density, ink colour, and how much each render varies are all adjustable. Pro accounts can save several presets per handwriting set.
Can I keep more than one handwriting style?+
The number of saved handwriting styles depends on your plan. The Subscription screen shows the current allowance.

Privacy and academic integrity

Is using HandwriterAI cheating?+
It depends on what you submit, where you submit it, and that institution's policies. HandwriterAI can both solve a problem and hand-write the result, so for graded work treat it the way you'd treat any AI assistant: only use it where your school explicitly allows it. You are responsible for following the rules of anywhere you submit work. Many uses raise no issue at all, like lecture notes, personal letters, or drafting your own writing in your own hand.
Can teachers detect it?+
Possibly, if they look closely. Renders are designed to look like real handwriting, but they are not undetectable forensic forgeries. We make no guarantee of non-detection and recommend using HandwriterAI only where its use is permitted.
What do you do with my uploaded photos and style data?+
Photos and style data you upload are stored privately, tied to your account, and used only to produce your documents. We never share or sell them. See our privacy policy for the full data-handling details.
Can I delete my account and data?+
Yes. From the settings page you can request account deletion. We hold the request in a 30-day grace window, so a misclicked delete is recoverable, then permanently purge your scans, uploaded photos, rendered PDFs, and profile data.
